In the spring of 1933 the name changed again the Bureau didn’t keep it’s former title and changed to the Division of Investigation, they weren’t happy with this name because there was several Divisions of Investigation around the world, and that was confusing. Then finally in 1935 president Roosevelt signed the appropriation bill and Finally the Federal Bureau of Investigation was it’s last name given and it’s been the FBI ever since.
