Recycling
Many items are made from paper, like, Toilet roll, Cardboard, and many other household objects, and without recycling items like Toilet roll, and Cardboard wouldn’t exist.
The Paper is collected and loaded onto vans, it is then sorted into what is recyclable and not.
The recyclable paper is feed under a long strong magnet which plucks staples and other metals out the paper.
It is then pushed into a giant blender which mashes the bits of paper into a mush which is ready for making materials.
A item that is made out of paper is a grey insulation which keeps houses warm.

What happens when glass is recycled?
•
• It all starts when you throw glass into the large steel containers.
• Workers sort the glass into different colours.
• Then they clean and then crush them into shards called cullet
• The shards of glass called cullet are transported into a manafacturing plant mixed with minarals that come out the ground like soda ash, sand and limestone.
• it finishes mixing and the cullet and all is fed into a furnace and is melted into a thick gloopy liquidafter being flamed at heat of 2800 F.
• the melted glass is poured into moulds and blown with air after that it is moulded to its final shape it will become a wine glass or a bottle of orange juice.
• it is then removed cooled and inspected then shipped to a company for whatever of their needs

We walked to the park were a event was being held we walked across a bridge and took photos of baby ducks and most surprisingly near some large boulders frogs and frogspawn we took photos.
In the middle of the park was a stall for nature, free Owl pellet dissection, Owl pellets are not poo they are regurgitated food. I separated fluff and bones and identified what they were, I found two field vole skulls many arm and leg bones and tons of hip bones, we checked what rodent they were by pulling the tiny teeth out with tweezers looking at the undersides of the teeth and matching the pattern with a one on a chart my brother was unlucky he only found small bones until he found the first shrew of the day. We also got our picture in the paper and also in the skegness website (First photo at the top). http://www.skegnessuk.org/Skegness_Easter_Bank_Holiday_photos.html
The dissecting was fun and enjoyable and also a bonus we got our photo in the paper, most people didn’t even join in with the fun just turned away disgusted a man at one of the stalls told me that some girls ran away screaming.

I went to Natureland Seal Sanctuary
Seals
The main attraction was the seals, they span twisted and darted around amazingly, there was seven seals in a large water-filled Penn, they were see-able through a large pane of clear glass, they swam around and twirled in front of me disappearing and reappearing every so often. The Seals last feed of the day was interesting a member of the staff stepped inside the Penn and fed them it was intriguing how they fed and the speed they reached when they raced after the fish that was thrown too far from them as they vigorously flapped after the fish drop of water splashed out the tank and rain upon us. They played games and a seal hit a plastic ball knocking bowling pins down one at a time everyone applauded the seal when he did, the seal also hit the ball into a small football net.

Sugar – The real story
The Canes have large palm like leaves that droop out the root of the plant they collect water and feed it to the root, The sugar canes like lots of water and sunshine but their soil is barely waterlogged.
Sugar Canes are grown for about 11-18 months from planting. The canes are chopped down manually or by machines, over 1,345 million tons of canes are chopped yearly. The sugar canes are fed into machines that slice grind and spray with hot water, extracting their juice, the juice is filtered and concentrated by evaporation under vacuum then crystallised, before being removed from the remaining liquid from centrifuged. The remaining liquid is called “Molasses” which is a useful co-product which can be used for fermentation process or animal feed “Bagasse” is a residual fibre from the cane mainly used for boiler fuel for the factory’s making them more efficient.
Any of the canes impurities and original colour will be removed, (the canes by far make six times more then the sugar beet is producing). The canes are grown in 121 countries, including Brazil and other tropical regions; the UK’s only company to produce sugar of many varieties and flavours, is Tate and Lyle.
The five step process of making sugar.
1. Affination and melting.
2. Carbonation and filtration.
3. Decolourisation.
4. Evaporation and Crystallisation.
5. Separation and Drying.

The Chinese should not have fired the missile, it has currently hit a old Chinese satellite, the act that took place was irresponsible and careless but the problems aren’t over, the shrapnel shattered from the satellite is orbiting around space at speeds of 1000mph, which could destroy other satellites (because it is within the collision course of them), which will collide with others and you see what I mean.

Donkey Kong has advanced through the years, from the platform monkey in the arcade

to the Handsome 3D Ape on the tv screen at home. Nintendo has sold thousands of Donkey Kong games since it was put for Nintendo, it’s a famous game Nationwide.
The cheeky Ape seems perfect… Right but Donkey Kong has his UP and down sides of the game.
GOOD
The brilliant idea of instead of a controller, you use DK Bongos to move Donkey Kong around. it’s impressive come to think of it instead of sitting like a coach potatoe and tapping round buttons, you sit like a coach potatoe banging round bongos, gaining more exercise then you ever thought possible on a console. It’s a clever sound sensitive reciver that makes Donkey Kong clap, it’s Monkey see Monkey do (Exept he’s a Ape) these bits of technology make Daily playing alot more fun.
